Yeah, I posted about this over at my LiveJournal ([link] the other day. Someone was looking for LS to TS2 conversions recolors over at the WCIF_Sims community, and the only reply she got was from me, with a link to a single page with only a couple actual LS recolors. :

It turned out they worked with the conversions too, but she really wanted more wood tones for the Baliwood set, and some of the other chairs and stuff. So...I decided to go nuts. I took the Maxis textures from the Ample King dining table and have been applying them to the ENTIRE Baliwood set (dresser, double/single beds, end table, 1x1/1x2 coffee tables, 1x1/1x2/1x3 dining tables, dining chair, lounger, loveseat, and couch).

300 images, I think? My brain isn't quite here right now. But anyway, I still have 72 images left to do after two or three days of working on them, but thankfully I'm down to just the lounger, loveseat, and couch, and they all use the same image to apply their textures, so I only need to make edit it in GIMP once before I can plop it into SimPE.

Methinks I'll post a big ol' picture of the set here on DA, once I get it finished, provided dumping all those files into my game doesn't blow it into high heaven.

Sooo, I just went over to LiveJournal and clicked on the "messages" link at the top to delete my two notes...

And I got a Trojan alert from Avast! that there was an instance of "JS:Illredir-AG [Trj]" in one of their files. THREE TIMES, as it tried to reload the page each time after I aborted the connection. I finally had to just logout and leave.

Has this happened to anybody else??

I get a bunch of warnings here on DA, apparently from the advertisements. Does that happen to you guys too??

I really don't think I've ever screamed because of a game before, to tell you the truth...But the new DLC for RE5, "Lost In Nightmares" actually made me drop the controller and screech like a 4-year-old.



And this was in the daytime!! You can only imagine, even on EASY mode, how much of a wuss I was at 11:30pm the night before last. Seriously, that game made a complete mockery out of my badass-yness...'Cause we played easy because we weren't sure what to expect, and with my photographic memory, I knew exactly what was going to happen and when without even really thinking about it...So I was breezing through normal mode...Until the first time that ugly lump of eww popped out where he hadn't been in easy mode.



Seriously. What's up with that? At least in easy mode, there were those crazy piano chords whenever he popped up, but in normal mode? Hell no!

But hey...It was actually SURVIVAL HORROR again after the crapulant action-"horror" of RE4+5.

+ OH YES.

...Besides that, I discovered I kick total ass in Mercs Reunion with both Excella AND Barry. Barry's melee moves make me laugh inexplicably. (Hahaha...Barry Sandwich...) I can't wait for teh Becca.

I put this in my LJ too, but for those of you who don't go there, here it be!

XDDD This is actually really funny, though it might have been even more so because it happened at like midnight...But whatever!

So, I'm sure most of you will recall my saying at some point that we bought a copy of "Silent Hill: Homecoming" a while back? Well, Tristan was playing it a bit last night after finishing "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories" for the first time and before playing some of the first "Assassin's Creed" for himself.

Anyhow, we came to a part where we were in some sort of power plant, and the only way we could really go was up a ladder, which lead to what obviously, given that it's SILENT FREAKING HILL, was an unlit second floor. We knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there was something really freaking awful up there, again, given that it's SILENT FREAKING HILL. 8|

There were some metal barrels next to the base of the ladder, and Tristan started making Alex (Alex Shepherd, the main protagonist of the game) kick the barrels over under the ladder, in an attempt to block it off. The conversation that followed went something like this:

Tristan: (As Alex) I don't wanna go up there! Something will hurt me! D;
Me: XD You know, I can totally see that too. He kicks all the barrels over there, then pulls out his sexy new pistol and shoots them in an attempt to destroy the whole thing. And upon realizing they're all empty and it's done nothing, he shits himself.
T: And misses!
M: ... ... ... ...Wha...Wait, what did you just say? He MISSES?
T: Yeah, why?
M: DUDE, DID YOU EVEN ACTUALLY HEAR WHAT I SAID?!
T: Yeah, you said that he...OH WAIT.
M: Yeeeah.
T: XDDD I JUST REALIZED WHAT YOU ACTUALLY SAID.
M: That's good, 'cause I was gonna say...How the hell could he MISS at shitting himself?

I kinda...Sat there for a second, wondering what the HELL he was talking about, and my face had to have been priceless. Really, my initial thought really WAS that he just hates Alex THAT much, which is unusual for either of us when it comes to the protagonists of our favorite series. It hit me just a moment after that, when I realized he'd thought I'd said "he SHOOTS himself".

So, now I run around the house looking at him whenever he does something stupid or random, saying "And now you've shit yourself, and missed." or something. XDDD It's almost as awesome as being able to look at him and say "DERP." and watch him fall into hysterics.

This is why I love this man, people...This is why I love this man.

Also, for those of you who didn't see it on FaceBook, I discovered through Lady GaGa that Tristan gets all hyper-flustered when I sing and dance at the same time. XD He just stares at me for a couple minutes, and then starts bitching that he can't concentrate with me doing that. XDDDDDD Most epic thing is that right after I posted it, my cousin marked it as one of her likes. *dies laughing* You go, Jen!

Seriously, I am freaking TIRED. And I have no idea why. > I haven't really been staying up late anymore - at least, not TOO late; maybe around 11pm or so. Who knows.

I've been messing around with [link] ALL DAY, and I can't really imagine why. It DOES make character design kinda easier, but still...MAKE THE IDEAS STOP COMING.

Anyhow, I'mma go work on a few things, perhaps. Maybe write a little bit? I'm totally not up to playing HM:AP right now, so I can spare the Wii a little bit of a break.

ALSO: Hollywood Video is having a sale...Any used game for any console listed at $24.99 or less is only $5. 8D We gots "Fallout 3" for a whole $5, and we didn't even need to actually PAY for it, because we traded in a load of games that came to $35. THAT IS SO HAWT. I might try and save the rest of the credit until HeartGold/SoulSilver come out...Or I might wait until they have a copy of "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories" to buy and get it for like $10. XD We shall see!

...I've been playing too much freaking Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. 8] I need to get back to Gears of War 2, or Darkside Chronicles, or something. XD

Just a short rant here...I preordered "Harvest Moon: Animal Parade" from GameStop.com, and it was supposed to be shipped TO ME no later than today, and the jerk-wads, as of 3:30pm, STILL have not mailed the goddamn thing.

Not exactly the best or most effective combination in the world, but still amusing just the same. xD Mom bought me some Black Lagar the other day, since I found the ONE AND ONLY store in the area that carries it, and I am quite pleased.

This is the first time since I turned 21 that I've had more than one drink within a month. D8 I feel so icky about it, but it's freaking freezing in here because out heat is farking up, and it makes me all warm inside. ...That, and the six pack is taking up way too much room in the fridge, along with Tristan's Hard Peach Iced Tea and mom's Busch's. >_>*

So yeah...I already said this in my LJ, but since a lot of you don't know where that is...I'll say it here too. xD

I had a falling out with someone who I thought was a very good friend to me, all because I didn't want to CALL her at ONE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING to let her know I couldn't hang out the next day, and she neglected to check her messages instead and wound up spending over $100 on just dinner for the next day. Seriously, it's not MY fault she's "too depressed" to check her freaking email or her messages on FaceBook and Flyff, but can run out to WalMart at the last minute and buy a bunch of food. Bullshit. And after I apologized to her like a dozen times, she informed me she was "tired of getting kicked around and used", and on top of all that started personally verbally attacking my mother and husband, and even my GRANDMOTHER. Seriously, what the *censor* is up with THAT??

I had to DEFEND my family to her, and then came back asking who it was that took care of her new puppy when she "forgot about him" when she and her husband decided to switch shifts to work together. Seriously, who FORGETS their brand new puppy? Their brand new $650 puppy? She tried to play the sweet, caring friend until she shot out with - get this, ladies and gents - "How many of your little internet friends have been with you through all the crap you went through? I'm the only one, because I'm the only real friend you've got, after all you've ever done is blow me off and bail on me! It's sad that you choose to hide behind pixels all day, every day! Your father dying was a hard hit to me too, and I hoped you'd be like him and do something with your life! And don't say getting married, because it doesn't count! Everybody does that at some point!"

...OK, so let me get this straight...

I saw her ONCE during our one and only trip back from FL before moving back here...And tried calling her 16 times over the course of three months after we got back down there and never got a call back. Then, when my grandfather got sick, and MY FATHER told HER MOTHER, she decided it'd be a good idea to call me after over 8 years. And THEN, when we got BACK to FL after my wedding, she never returned my calls AGAIN! And let's not forget that she tried to get me to POSTPONE MY WEDDING after the invites were out so that she could come. 'the fuck?

OH, and did I forget to mention the whole reason Tristan and I were supposed to go over there that day was TO PLAY FLYFF ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT? Pixels, anyone? And by the way, she was constantly badmouthing Tristan to his face and to me behind his back, so that was real incentive. Let's not even discuss what I said when she went on about my father and doing something with my life, because I was rather nasty and a tad vulgar. And as for the whole "internet friends" thing, that got thrown back in her face on top of the screaming I did at her about it when I mentioned how her little internet friend from Ireland is supposedly coming to stay with them for a week.

Dude, I swear I wanted to walk down the street to her apartment and spit in her face. I feel sorry for her pets, since she never takes care of them, and they wind up not getting a lick of food or water until her husband gets home from work at like 8pm at the earliest. BAH. I can't stand even thinking about the bitch anymore...All I know is I've got plenty of friends who I love and care for and would never consider this crap; Lilly, Nick, Jenae, Matthew, Casey, Tori, Rachel, Kathy, Matt & Chris, Sean, and Julia. Yeah, you're all online...But amazingly enough...You're always around when you can be, surprisingly. 8O *gasp*

So yeah, I kinda had to get that outta my head before I screamed bloody murder or something. >_> I'll shut up now though, and let you people get back to your own lives. >.>
