Dearly Missed Pumpkin 2009

For those of you who may not know, my father passed away earlier this year. He and I had many, many wonderful years of pumpkin carving together under our belts, and I decided that this year even though he couldn't be with us, he would be a part of the tradition just the same.

This is one of two pumpkins carved for Halloween 2009. A better picture should be coming sometime in the future.

The patterned was lined from an old photograph of my father after scanning and resizing, and were then pressed and carved into the pumpkin by me.
